STUDENTS
For students studying public relations in college, getting involved in the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is a wonderful way to complement a classroom education and start to build a professional network.
Our goal at PRSA Greater Fort Lauderdale is to connect our network of professionals to communications and marketing students interested in furthering their applied knowledge of the field.
Primarily supporting the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapters in the tri-county area, our PRSSA liaison serves as a mentor and helps students reach their professional aspirations through tailored programming.
Students can gain pivotal education and professional experience through working with our chapter committees to create content, build a digital strategy, write a variety of assets, and more.
Associate Member, PRSSA Graduate (AMPG)
- National $60
- Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter $45
To be an AMPG you must be an active PRSSA member at the time of graduation, and your application must be submitted within two years of graduating.
You may remain an AMPG member for up to two years and will then automatically be upgraded to Member. AMPG requires a special application.
Associate Member, Graduate Student (AMGS)
- National $60
- Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter $45
As an AMGS, you must be enrolled full-time in an advanced degree program for teaching or practicing public relations. Proof of full-time matriculation is required and must be submitted with your application. You may remain an AMGS member for a maximum of six years or if you are a full-time student.
