The Fort Lauderdale chapter of Public Relations Society of America is part of the PRSA which is the world’s largest professional organization for public relations practitioners. We make up one of 111 chapters throughout the U.S, covering Broward County. We are made up of a diverse set of members who represent different areas of Broward County from Dania Beach in the south to Weston in the west and Parkland to the north.

At PRSA Greater Fort Lauderdale our mission is to support individuals in all stages of their careers with a myriad of professional resources.

Accreditation in Public Relations (APR)

We encourage our members to continue their professional development in the industry and to build on their degrees and experience by becoming Accredited in Public Relations. Ethics

We strive to uphold the strong core values and ethical practices of public relations. To do so we follow principles outlined by the PRSA Code of Ethics. As a PRSA member ethical practice is the most vital obligation. The code aids in providing support for members on avoiding malpractice.

PRSSA

Our chapter fully supports the Nova Southeastern University, our official PRSSA chapter, and Florida International University’s  chapter. We want to provide upcoming professionals in the field with the proper tools and guidance to uphold our ethical principles and standards.

PRSA Foundation

Our PRSA members can help in supporting  the PRSA Foundation. Which is an independent, 501 (c) (3) charitable organization that is committed to promoting diversity among public relations professionals and companies so that they can best serve the public good and address the needs of a diverse world.
