PR Wizard Awards Event
PRSA Greater Fort Lauderdale annual PR Wizard Awards, held in December, celebrates the significant communications programs and components that were locally created and executed in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. In recent years, we’ve also spotlighted top agencies in our region and communications teams that have done stellar work on behalf of their clients or organizations.
This event also serves to recognize the chapter’s volunteers, leaders, and up-and-comers as well as introduce the incoming board and any future plans for the chapter.
What are the Wizard Awards?
The Wizard Awards recognize the most exceptional, strategic public relations programs and components developed and produced in the Fort Lauderdale area. Achievements are recognized in 6 categories, including:
- Communicator of the Year
- New Professional of the Year
- Journalist of the Year
- Department of the Year
- Agency of the Year
- President's Award
Finalists in each category will be notified by email. The Award winners will be announced at the Awards event in December. One award is presented in each category to demonstrate the highest achievement.
